CryptoVue Designers

EDWARD BLEVINS serves as the company’s senior encryption programmer responsible for the CryptoVue™ operating system. As a Linux expert, he was instrumental in the design and patent registration work for the security software and oversees its further design, development and documentation. His past experience includes development positions at SGI, Apple and IBM. Mr. Blevins has made many contributions to various open-source software projects, including the GIMP graphics-editing program. Although commencing his programming training at the age of eight, Edward received his formal education during his tenure in the Computer Science program at the University of Texas at Austin.

SAM HARTMAN is currently Chief Technologist of the MIT Kerberos Consortium (http://www.kerberos.org/people/index.html) in Boston, Massachusetts. Kerberos is a network security and authentication product used in operating systems from Microsoft, Apple, Sun, Novell and Redhat. Mr. Hartman is also a voting member of the Internet Engineering Steering Group (http://www.ietf.org/IESGmems.html) where he serves as one of the two security area directors on the IESG, the body that reviews Internet standards for publication and manages the worldwide Internet Standards process. Mr. Hartman is one of the authors of the Kerberos technical specification, which is now at the core of network security for Microsoft's Windows new family of operating systems. Previously he served as chief architect for FundsXpress, an online financial services and Internet banking company. Mr. Hartman holds an S.B. in Computer Science from MIT.

J. ARLEY BURNS co-founded Netzah, Inc., a cryptology and network security systems software firm that originally developed the CryptoVue™ Network Security Appliance acquired by ERF Enterprise Network Services. Mr. Burns is an expert in the programming of batch processes, billing systems and Power Builder applications. He has developed software products for Ariba and Commerce One, and has extensive experience in the software production life cycle, from requirements to development to maintenance and support. In 1995, Mr. Burns was a co-founder of FundsXpress where he authored and managed the development and operations of the extensive Network Security Appliance developed in-house, and also developed and managed the kernel for the in-house ASP FX Internet Banking and FX Bill Payment systems. Mr. Burns holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin, where he attended on a National Merit Scholarship and was a Cockrell Scholar.

JOHN A. BURNS co-founded Skyvue USA which was acquired by ERF Wireless in 2005. Prior to founding Skyvue USA, Mr. Burns founded FundsXpress, Inc., where he served as chairman of the board, chief executive officer and president until retiring in late 2002. At FundsXpress, he raised over $80 million to develop one of the leading Internet banking companies in America, providing services to over 500 financial institutions. At FundsXpress, Mr. Burns was endorsed by 28 state banking associations and received the 5 Star Award in 2000 from the Independent Bankers Association of Texas for being the state’s most outstanding banking services provider. Mr. Burns holds a BBA in finance from the University of Texas at Austin (1974) where he attended on a football scholarship.
